ESPN’s Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter are reporting that Peyton Manning has directed his agent to solely complete negotiations with the Denver Broncos. Denver is expected to sign Manning shortly with no hold-ups to financials of a contract. Once the deal is complete Denver is expected to look for potential trades involving Tim Tebow.

The Miami Dolphins traded Wide-Receiver Brandon Marshall to the Chicago Bears for a sack of footballs. Just kidding. Marshall was actually traded to Chicago for 2 third round draft picks (2012 and 2013). Marshall will be reunited with Quarterback Jay Cutler in Chicago. Does this leave the door open with cap space to sign potential running mates after a Peyton Manning signing? One can only hope so. The Dolphins traded 2 second round draft picks to Denver to obtain Marshall. Can this team do anything right?

According to numerous media reports, it is expected that the Indianapolis Colts and Peyton Manning will part ways at a press conference scheduled for Wednesday. Manning was due a $28 Million roster bonus if he was to remain with the team after Thursday. Upon his release he will be an unrestricted free-agent and free to sign with any team. Expected teams interested in the services of Manning include the Miami Dolphins who have not found a franchise Quarterback since Dan Marino retired.
